José Emilio González

José Emilio González (18 February 1918 Gurabo, Puerto Rico - 1990) was an Puerto Rican literary critic and editor.
He graduated from University of Puerto Rico in 1940, Boston University, Columbia University, Princeton University, and the Sorbonne.[1][2][3]
He was an instructor of the University of Puerto Rico from 1946–1948 and 1956-1963. He served in the legislature for the Puerto Rican Independence Party in 1952.[4]
